About BSE SENSEX

The BSE SENSEX (S&P BSE Sensex) is the benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange, India's oldest exchange. It tracks 30 large, financially sound and actively traded companies, weighted by free-float market capitalisation, and has been published since 1986, which makes it the longest-running headline number for Indian equities.

Because almost all of its 30 constituents are also inside the NIFTY 50, the two indices move closely together, but they track different baskets and are not interchangeable. On Chartick you can generate AI-powered technical analysis of the SENSEX from live market data, including trend direction, momentum and key support and resistance levels.
